The Ministry of Transport gave this task to Reinier Bosman (Arteca Consultancy) and Meine van der Meulen, supported by Ida Stroosnijder as text editor. The final document was accepted, and is now binding for all light rail projects in the Netherlands. |

In
the year 2000, Meine van der Meulen was part of the team to formulate the Dutch
approach to addressing safety in light rail. This project involved many
stakeholders, all with big vested interests, and it required independent people
coordinating the contributions of the stakeholders and editing the final
document.
