Safety Requirements Specification for the High Speed Train Link

Meine van der Meulen was involved in the safety team writing the Safety Requirements Specification for the high speed train link from Amsterdam to the Belgian border (i.e. the Dutch part of the high speed train link to Paris). His contribution included the writing of safety cases and risk allocation; he was responsible for the topics collision and derailment. The main challenge in writing the Safety Requirements Specification was the obligatory split between infrastructure provider and the train operators, making risk allocation a necessary but very difficult task.
