In Chinese mythology, the dragon represents courage and creativity, it is an untamed power, capable of the unimaginable. But a dragon is also a hidden, dangerous force, with the power to harm.

Thus, the dragon represents many aspects of safety engineering: technology enables us to realize our dreams, at the same time threatening us with unknown dangers. It takes courage to battle these dangers, but if we address them with skill and boldness, as St George did, they will be beaten.
